The Omega Guardians are a group that began thanks to a picture by over at the Allspark.com I liked the image and grouping so much, I began to encourage everyone there to post their superhero creations. After some discussion among the members, the name "Omega Guardians" was selected (the working group name was simply "Allspark Heroes", the umbrella name I still use to refer to them all). This is, ironically enough, the second group of Allspark-member superheroes to bear that name. The original Omega Guardians were a "City of Heroes"-based grouping.

The group is a confederation of heroes from across the planet, banding together as needed, depending on the situation and available membership (similar to the setup in the JUSTICE LEAGUE UNLIMITED cartoon). The group also sponsors and helps train a spin-off organization of younger heroes.
